Exploring the Infinite: How to Break Free from Time and Space

The Fascinating Connection Between Time, Space, and the Mind

The Truth About Dreams: 30 Seconds in No Time or Space

I recently discovered something that truly blew my mind: the average dream lasts 30 seconds. Yes, you read that right. The entire dream, from the rush of being chased, to the warmth of kissing a loved one, to the absurdity of walking into work in your pajamas, all of it happens in just half a minute.

It’s amazing how our minds can bend time, packing such vivid experiences into mere seconds. What’s even more fascinating is that dreams exist in a realm of no time and space. In the dream state, our perception of time becomes fluid and detached from the physical world. The boundaries of time and space, as we know them, simply do not apply.

A Glimpse Beyond the Now
Have you ever walked into a room and felt you’d been there before—even though you know you haven’t? That uncanny flash of déjà vu isn’t just your brain playing tricks; many intuitives—myself included—sense it as a remembrance of a moment yet to unfold. On the astral plane, time isn’t linear, so your soul can reach forward and recall what’s waiting just around the bend of your life’s journey.

This fluid sense of time isn’t just a mystical idea—neuroscientists back it up. As sleep expert Dr. Matthew Walker explains, “Our perception of time during sleep is dramatically different. It’s almost as if we’re living in a different dimension.”

It’s this very distortion of time and space that makes dreams both perplexing and powerful. As a clairvoyant, I’d say that our dreams unfold in a different dimension—what many call the astral plane—where even the déjà vu flashes you feel in waking life are echoes of those otherworldly visits.

No Time or Space: Clairvoyance, Meditation, and Reading

The notion of no time and space extends beyond the world of dreams into the realm of clairvoyance and meditation.

As someone who practices intuitive-clairvoyant readings, I’ve found that when I conduct a reading, I enter a space where time and space no longer exists. My eyes are closed, and I am not physically connected to the person I am reading—whether they’re sitting in front of me or 3,000 miles away.

In this altered stated of consciousness, location doesn’t matter. Time and space simply aren’t relevant.

What I experience in readings isn’t just a mystical notion—it mirrors truths we're beginning to understand through both science and spiritual practice.

When you align with your intuition, you step into a different kind of time—one that flows with insight, synchronicity, and expansion.

Quantum physics offers one lens: the concept of non-locality suggests that particles can affect each other regardless of distance—just as I can connect intuitively with someone thousands of miles away.

See synchronicity in action: If you’re curious how these uncanny coincidences show up in everyday life, check out my Signs & Synchronicity blog, where we unpack the magic behind those perfectly timed “coincidences” that steer you toward your next step.

Meditation, too, involves a shift in consciousness that frees us from the constraints of time and space. In that deep state, as I often experience during meditation, we transcend our immediate surroundings, and connect to something far more universal.

The Mind’s Power: Science Behind the Mind-Body Connection

Dr. Jeffrey Schwartz, a respected psychiatrist at UCLA, has conducted groundbreaking research on the mind-body connection, which supports this idea.

He collaborated with the creators of the movie The Aviator, helping them accurately depict obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) through the actors’ performances. Remarkably, brain scans of the actors showed signs of OCD—even though they didn’t have the disorder in real life.

This reveals just how profoundly the mind can influence the bodyand how the body, in turn, reflects what the mind believes.

Additionally, studies on dissociative identity disorder (formerly known as multiple personality disorder) highlight the mind-body connection even more profoundly.

Research has shown that individuals with multiple personalities (now known as dissociative identity disorder) can exhibit striking physiological changes when switching between personalities. For instance, one personality may have perfect vision, while another may be nearsighted. One may need insulin while another does not.

These dramatic shifts in physical state reinforce the idea that our minds holds extraordinary influence over the body—further blurring the boundaries between time, space, and what we perceive as physical reality.

The Power of Positive Thinking: Smiling vs. Medication

In a fascinating study on the power of thought, researchers found that something as simple as smiling at yourself in the mirror can profoundly affect your mood.

Smiling regularly—whether you feel like it or not—has been shown to be just as effective in treating depression as antidepressant medication.

Positive thinking, in its simplest form, can shift our physiological state and alter the way our brains function.

This supports the findings of Norman Cousins, who famously used laughter as therapy during his battle with a debilitating disease. His research showed that positive emotions, such as laughter, can have a powerful effect on the immune system and overall well-being.

How Meditation Transcends Time

The connection between the mind and body is also evident in the practice of meditation.

In a study conducted by the New York Times Magazine, Tibetan Buddhist monks were observed using functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to track their brain activity while meditating.

The results were striking: while novice meditators showed only slight changes in brain activity, monks who had spent more than 10,000 hours meditating exhibited dramatic differences in brain function.

The scans revealed that activity in the left prefrontal cortex—the region of the brain associated with joy and positive emotion—was significantly higher than activity in the right prefrontal cortex, which is linked to anxiety.

This suggests that long-term meditation can permanently shift the brain’s resting state, altering the balance between positive and negative emotions.

As Richard Davidson, a neuroscientist who led the study, explained: “The practice of meditation can lead to the rewiring of the brain, enabling the practitioner to experience greater peace and emotional resilience.”

One of the simplest ways to begin exploring altered states is through The Rose Meditation—a guided practice I teach in my workshops and classes. In just 10 minutes, it helps you create energetic boundaries, clear external interference, and reconnect with your own inner truth.

It’s gentle yet powerful—ideal for those just beginning to explore multidimensional consciousness, and deep enough to satisfy seekers ready for more.

The 30-Second Power of Change

Just imagine what can happen in 30 seconds. Time, as we know it, can be completely transformed in such a brief moment. A small shift in mindset, perspective, or energy can spark lasting, meaningful change

As the famous psychologist William James once said, “The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes of mind.”

Consider the 100th Monkey Syndrome—the idea that when a critical number of individuals adopt a new belief or behavior, it can trigger a collective shift in consciousness, even across great distances.

This concept reminds us that a single change in thinking, energy, or awareness could ripple outward—transforming not only your life but potentially the lives of many others as well.

Connecting Across Time and Space: The Power of Prayer, Dreams, and Visions

Many indigenous cultures and spiritual traditions recognize the interconnectedness of all beings across time and space.

As Angeles Arrien, anthropologist and author, of The Four-Fold Way, beautifully writes: “Many indigenous people recognize that through prayer, dreams, and visions, individuals can touch the heart and spirit of other human beings, regardless of physical time and distance.’

This is the essence of universal connection—one that transcends the physical limitations we perceive in our everyday lives.

Through the power of prayer, dreams, and visions, we can tap into a deeper, timeless space where the boundaries of time and space fade away, allowing us to connect with others in profound and meaningful ways.

The Spiritual Power of Dream Consciousness

When we learn to enter altered states of consciousness—through meditation or other practices—we unlock the potential to break free from the rigid constraints of time and space.

These practices provide a pathway to reconnect with the deepest parts of ourselves and the universe around us.

By consciously shifting our thoughts and perceptions, we can experience profound changes in our reality.

The transformative power of the mind-body connection is immense, and it’s accessible to all of us.

Whether through meditation, positive thinking, mantras, or exploring altered states, we have the ability to change the way we think, feel, and experience the world.
